We are looking for an experienced Fleet Manager responsible for managing a fleet of vehicles in a rapidly growing transportation company.
Work location: on-site or hybrid, full-time
Salary: 14,000-16,000 gross
Fleet: 30 leased trucks and trailers (target: 50 by the end of 2026).
Specialization: international freight transportation (Spain, Germany, France, Italy)
Fleet Manager’s responsibilities
1. fleet supervision
- Keeping full records of leased vehicles (contracts, mileage, service schedules)
- Monitor lease terms, payment schedules and renewals
- Support in planning fleet expansion to the level of 50 vehicles
2. cooperation with leasing companies
- Manage communications and documentation with:
- DLL
- PKO Leasing
- Santander
- Monitor lease obligations and payment terms
- Ensure documentation compliance with finance lease requirements
3. cost control and optimization
- Analysis of fuel costs, tolls, repairs and fines
- Compare fuel efficiency of drivers, routes and vehicles
- Detection of fuel abuse and improper operation
4. maintenance management
- Scheduling technical inspections and tire replacement
- Coordination of services in the EU (PL, DE, FR, ES, IT)
- Minimize downtime and failures
5. coordination of drivers
- Monitoring driving style via GPS and telematics
- Records of violations and damages
- Safety and fuel economy training
6. implementation of TMS and KPIs
- Operation of TMS systems
- Report creation (Excel / Google Sheets):
- fuel consumption
- maintenance costs
- revenue/km
- vehicle availability
7. strategic development of the fleet
- Advice on the purchase and replacement of vehicles
- Forecasting fleet costs
- Supporting negotiations with suppliers
8 Communication and reporting
- Reporting directly to the Director
- Weekly and monthly reports
- Participation in strategic meetings
