We are a fast-growing European FTL transportation group operating across the EU, working with major freight forwarders and logistics platforms. We are expanding our long-term contract business with OEM and Tier-1 customers and are looking for a Tender and Key Account Manager to lead strategic RFQ/RFP tenders and secure 1-3 year transportation contracts.
Key Responsibilities of Senior Tender & Key Account Manager
– Lead and manage RFQ / RFP / bidding processes from start to finish
– Analysis of tender documents and customer requirements
– Prepare route prices and rate models for multiple countries
– Create cost and margin calculations (€/km, route, network prices)
– Coordinate with operations, fleet and finance teams to obtain accurate cost data
– Preparation of professional commercial offers and responses to tenders
– Communication with buyers from procurement and logistics departments
– Participation in commercial negotiations and contract finalization
– Support for implementation of newly awarded contracts
– Develop long-term relationships with key customers
– Maintaining a database of tenders and tracking potential customers
Requirements and experience in logistics and FTL
– 3-7+ years of experience in transportation/logistics sales or tender management
– Proven experience in making inquiries/offers in road transport or 3PLs
– Good knowledge of FTL operations and cost structures
– Experience in contract logistics or automotive customer service will be an advantage
– Advanced knowledge of Excel (pricing models, cost calculations)
– Ability to analyze margins and risk scenarios
– Experience working with large freight forwarders or logistics service providers
– Professional knowledge of English (spoken and written)
– Structured, analytical and detail-oriented approach

– Experience in working with TMS platforms
– Knowledge of SLA / KPI structures
– Knowledge of ISO standards / regulatory compliance
